Jack Allred first picked up a camera at age 13, when his dad gave him his
twin lens reflex. Following college, he switched to 35mm and began working in portraiture. Necessity later forced him to pursue a series of non-photographic careers, including music, graphic design, web design, and retail management, but he took his cameras with him as he traveled through much of the country. In recent years, his primary interest has focused on architectural photography. While he continues a career in retail operations, he is building his project and client list with the goal of returning to photography as his full-time career.
